"We must protect
the unprotected,
care for
the uncared for,
and speak for
the voiceless.
We must give
all animals
a chance
to live a life."

Animals vibrate at higher frequency levels than humans and are extremely sensitive to energy, making Energy Work a very effective healing method for them - and faster than acupuncture, massage, chiropractic adjustments, or any other physically-applied modalities.
Through my own personal experience, I've learned that animals can see, feel, smell and hear energy. When I go to Animal Sanctuaries or Animal Rescue organizations, they always sniff my hands when the energy starts flowing. Some animals point the part of their body that needs healing towards me (i.e. a hurt leg/hip/foot), or put it directly into my hands - like a frostbitten ear, injured eye, or their head if they've had a traumatic experience.
I conduct all sessions for animals from afar, even for my own bunny ("Peanut"). I'll sit on the opposite side of the room from him because there's so much that I do above, below, and around their bodies - they would be distracted, want to play, or be confused if I did everything in-person. To maximize the healing, it's best if they're in a calm environment where they can relax, rest, chill out, and just receive.

I've had the privilege of working with other bunnies, as well as dogs, cats, goats, pigs, cows, horses, donkeys, lamb, sheep, chickens, turkeys, roosters, ducks, peacocks and pigeons. I've fallen in love with every single one of them. They ALL sense the energy and know it can help them. Some skeptical people think energy healing is just the "Placebo Effect", but animals disprove that theory.

Remote
The majority of sessions I do for animals is from a distance. I mix multiple techniques together (not just Reiki), which is easier to facilitate from afar. If I did everything in-person, fur babies would probably think I was trying to play with them or wonder what was going on lol. I also need to work on the front and back of their bodies alternately throughout the session - so it wouldn't be feasible to turn them over, back and forth, all the time.
I just need the following:

1.) Photo(s) where I can see their eyes
2.) Name (First and Last)
3.) Location (City/State)
4.) Situation/What to focus on
A web-meeting/Zoom/FaceTime is NOT necessary, but I can set up a video call, if you'd like. The human parent doesn't need to do anything. You can be present and observe, but don't distract your baby. We would pick a day/time when they can just rest and relax. It's ok if they're asleep - they'll still receive the energy. Energy Work usually induces sleep because our bodies heal fastest while we're sleeping. Flushing toxins and negative energy out of the body can make animals and people tired.
Before any session, I communicate with animals telepathically to introduce myself, let them know what I'll be doing, and how energy work can help them. It's important that animals understand *they* are in total control, and they have all the power. It's up to them, if they want to take the energy into their body or not. They have a choice, and it's their decision. Animals always want it, though! And they can receive/stop/pause/resume receiving the energy whenever they want during sessions.

It's also important for us to know if energy work is helping them. So, I tell fur babies to communicate with you/their parents and let you know if they liked the energy healing and feel better, or not. We need to know. So if they liked it and feel better, I ask them to show and tell you - by being more affectionate, cuddly, playful, energetic, talkative, and have a good appetite and drink plenty of water. If they didn't like it or it's not helping, I tell them to isolate themselves, be distant, and don't interact with you.
Sometimes I receive messages from animals, but I'm not a professional Animal Communicator - so it doesn't happen every single time. I'm convinced they can hear and understand me, though! So, if there's anything you want me to tell them, I can reiterate/relay messages to them on your behalf 😊 This has helped clear the air and resolve many misunderstandings and issues for clients and their pets in the past!

In-person
On rare occasions, I'll do animal sessions face-to-face, but only for Reiki (not any of the other techniques). Before I begin doing Reiki, I always talk with animals to introduce myself, explain what I'll be doing, and how it can help them. I also let them know they are in complete control. I just provide the energy and make it available to them. Then, they can choose if they want to draw it into their body or not (they always do though✨ and how much). Usually, animals want the energy the entire session, but sometimes they might take a little break (like an intermission) and will let me know by standing up, walking around, drinking water, or distracting themselves with something else, and then they'll come back to continue.
I never force the energy on animals. I like to give them plenty of space initially and sit at a distance. Many will come over to me, but some like to receive it from across the room. Direct contact is not necessary.
Energy Healing is usually very calming, soothing, and relaxes animals - Most of them fall asleep. Always make sure they have plenty of water because they might get thirsty, as their bodies purge toxins and negative energy out, rebalance and recalibrate.
